My Professional Background

Ever since I was a child, I have always wanted to help others.  I knew from an early age that I wanted to be a teacher or  a nurse.  My first career was in teaching and I taught K-12 Physical Education and K-9 Special Education. I enjoyed teaching however, my drive to help others led me towards nursing.  Although I am still a Registered Nurse, about eight years ago I followed a new career path and found that my true passion is in Human Resources and management.  I chose to pursue my Master's Degree in Human Resource Development and Management so that I can take my current career to a new level while using my previous experiences and various degrees.
